Somewhere

The nights are now drawing in so it is important that we remind everyone again of the message we put out at this time of year.

As illness and injuries can occur at any time, we ask you to ensure your house name or number is clearly visible from the road by day and night, so that, when you need us most, we can find you quickly and easily.
The three following steps would assist us and the ambulance greatly:

     • Check your house name or number is visible from the road
     • Make sure that there are no trees or bushes obstructing the sign
     • Switch on, when possible, an outside light.

It can be frustrating and time-consuming for visitors and delivery people to identify addresses but, in emergency situations, it could literally be the difference between life and death. Satnav devices are not infallible. Please help us to help you!
Finally, please put pets away in another room as even the friendliest animal can get defensive and bite if someone is trying to get between them and their owner.

We will have a presence at the Bransgore Fun Run on Sunday 17th October 10am on the recreation ground in Burley Road, along with our First Aid Association colleagues and we look forward to seeing some of you there.
Its being put together by Bransgore Rotary club again and with a 5K and 10K option you have a choice.
Entry form can be found by clicking here.
