The Bransgore Rotary Fun Day on Bank Holiday 6th May was a great success as usual and we had many visitors to our Education Ambulance and stand.

Our next event is on Sunday 9th June when we will have a presence at the Bransgore Rotary Club Fun Run, to show our support for the runners and their efforts.
As soon as the run is finished some of us will be off to the Bisterne Farms “Open Farm” event at Brixey’s Farm Office, Sandford, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 3BU, Open 10-4. Admission free. We will show the flag for local community first responders and, who knows, we may even find some new recruits to join the team. Open Farm Sunday is a national event. Bisterne Farms is the home farm of the 4,000-acre Bisterne Estate. They are a mixed farm with a dairy herd of 500 cows, arable crops, forestry and sporting activities. Activities range from machinery displays, tractor and trailer rides, through to demonstrations, nature walks and much more!

Our co-ordinator, Mike and Linda, his wife, were honoured to attend the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace at the end of May, following the award of his BEM last year.
