This month we are working with CFR Colleagues from Brockenhurst, Ringwood and New Milton, to raise awareness of CFR’s and what we do. This is part of a recruiting campaign we have initiated in an effort to find more community based volunteers to become CFR’s in our wonderful part of the New Forest.

We will make use of Facebook and Twitter and we hope our local press, radio and TV will report on the need as they have done before.

Our volunteers come and go as their availability or lifestyle changes, so we need to seek volunteers constantly.

Changes, and improvements in the training we are given have increased skills levels but have slowed down our ability to get people trained up quickly, so an ongoing process is needed if we are to keep the numbers up to a viable level.

We are looking forward to the Bransgore Rotary Club’s ever popular Family Fun Day to be held at the Recreation Ground in Burley Road, 1pm to 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May. We hope to have the Education Ambulance with us and look forward to meeting many of you on the day.
