The Great Bransgore Beer, Cider and Music Festival

We spent 3 days at this event at the Three Tuns over the weekend of 22-24th September and not a drop passed our lips while on duty. Why? Because we were there raising funds for our group by running a prize draw.

BeerFestOver the weekend our competition raised £777.98!
Thanks to everyone who had a go, or who put money in the box as a donation. It was really appreciated and across the whole weekend out of several thousand we think there were less than 10 sets of visitors who actually declined to support the charity event.
In addition it looks like Bransgore Rotary have had another successful Beer Fest and we hope that the funds raised for the wider charities supported by Rotary will again be in the region of £22-25,000.
Oh yes.... once off duty and out of uniform we did sample just a couple of the beers on offer!

Don't forget the old round pound coins will cease to be legal tender on October 15th. We remain happy to take them either before that day, or after.

Presentation about Sepsis

SepsisThe team were privileged to receive a presentation by Mark Ainsworth-Smith, Consultant in Pre-Hospital care for South central Ambulance Service. We invited other CFR Groups from South West Hampshire to join us as Mark spoke on the subject of Sepsis, a potentially life-threatening and fast developing condition- something everyone needs to recognise early. For more information on recognising Sepsis early please click here.

And finally:
