A busy month just gone. Your generosity raised £640.77 at our annual street collection which will help support your local Community First Responders. Big thanks to everyone. On the same day some of the team attended Burton Carnival and represented us at that event.
We had our summer gathering in the garden of The Crown and worked out we are nearer Christmas than last new year.
And now its August where we went straight into Burley Show with our Education Ambulance which is always a hit with the kids. Colleagues from an association we work closely with, provided first aid at Burley and the Open Air Shakespeare event the next night at Harrow Wood Farm.
And at the end of the month, we will represent the ambulance service at the Airfields Memorial Commemoration Event. All in all, a busy few weeks and more to come with other events in the coming couple of months. Oh yes, and we put in several hundred hours being on call and available to attend the medical emergency calls which are our raison d’être.
We still would like to hear from anyone interested in joining us as a Community based First Responder for the ambulance service.
