STAY SAFE -If you do not need to go out in icy conditions then please don't.

The group will be taking possession vey shortly, of a second new defibrillator unit to replace one due to go out of frontline service with us. We hope to be able to announce shortly that we have donated the one being replaced to an organisation who will be able to make good use of it. Defibrillators are not cheap and by donating it on we feel this will make good use of resources which were originally provided to us through our local Rotary Club. Funds for the new defibrillator were donated by Bransgore Rotary Club and the family of the late Bill Quick - local Rotarian. The unit will carry the Rotary logo and a label showing it to be in memory of Bill. We extend our sincere thanks to Bill's family and Bransgore Rotary Club.

Our members have been out and about with GPS devices plotting the locations of named properties and key locations in our wider area. Following the events of December, where we assisted further afield than Bransgore, we felt it necessary to enhance our mapping by plotting our extended area. You can help us and the ambulance service though by ensuring that your house name or number is clearly visible both by day and night. If we can't find you - we can't help you!

As you may note from our Home page Responder Mike Jukes was invited along to be a guest on the Nick Girdler Sunday morning Show on Radio Solent on 31st January to talk about Community Responders and to review the papers. We wish to thank Nick and his team for giving us the opportunity to promote the work that Community First Responders do within Hampshire.

As always, we desperately need committed local people to come forward and help us. Just a few hours a week will help us "Make a Difference in Bransgore". Please consider it and read the information leaflet available from the What's Hot section on the Home page.
