December was a busy month for the team. We gave radio interviews on Radio Solent, where we also got a mention on the Julian Clegg Breakfast Show,

Also we were short of volunteers as most of our responders were taking a well earned Christmas break but those remaining on call provided 24/7 cover.
As we enter the new year we are considering already the challenges we know we will face in the coming year. We hope our partnership with Gates of Brockenhurst, the sponsor of our response car - so important to our group,will continue. We need to continue to raise vital funds or to identify projects which may require us to seek a grant, or support from businesses, and we need to recruit new volunteers regularly, to replace those who may leave, to increase the hours we can provide our service to the community and to spread the workload more evenly across the team.
