We are hoping that a local car dealer or garage will step forward to help us
by sponsoring a replacement response car. Our current car, in its distinctive ambulance
livery, has become a common site in Bransgore and this part of the New Forest and Dorset
as we attend serious medical emergencies. Our arrangement with Gates of Brockenhurst, who
provide the current car, is due to end in April.
We need a new or nearly new car-type van, to carry our equipment or ideally a small 4x4 to
enable us to reach those parts of the Forest away from the tarmac roads that we currently
cannot reach and where walkers or riders may suffer accident or sudden life-threatening illness.
We hope a local garage will want to help their community and associate themselves with our group.

Our group wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents and family of Aaron Keeping. They recently presented a cheque for just over
700 pounds to the group in memory of their son Aaron who was tragically killed at The Crown crossroads last September. Group co-ordinator Adrian said:" We are very appreciative of such a kind gesture of the money in memory of Aarron.
As a charitable organisation we are reliant on donations to ensure that we can continue to deliver our emergency services to those in the community who are suffering from a life-threatening injury or illness"
.
Our newest members, Derek and Julie have now completed their initial training and will soon be on the rota assisting us to provide cover. They will be accompanied by one of our experienced responders for their first few calls.
