We started providing cover in the additional areas within Hampshire on 9th November and had our first call there on the evening of 11th November - to the Burley Cross area. That was our third call out of the day. Monday 12th saw the expansion of the scheme into Dorset and we now cover Winkton and outer Burton and will go further if requested by the ambulance service. This marks the start of our cross border operations.More information on how we achieved this can be see by visiting our News pages for September and August 2007

As a result of media interest, our responder Mike was interviewed for Original 106FM. They were keen to hear about the work of our group and the unique arrangement we have for cross county operations. In addition to explaining what we do locally, he also promoted the work of Community Responders generally both in Hampshire & Dorset. We hope to have an audio file of the interview available on this site in due course
