Our group have received international support from Tom Tom Satellite Navigation Systems of Amsterdam- The Smart Choice in Personal Navigation.
Having heard about our group and what we do, Tom Tom have offered the group the latest in portable and in-car satellite navigation systems to help find addresses quickly in a crisis.
Until now we have relied on some very good paper manuscript maps, but we will now have the latest in SatNav technology to help us. Our team will be out on foot, plotting those houses known by name only and will input the information into the Tom Tom SatNav system. The result will be a fast and reliable system to help responders reach those in need even quicker than before. Together with our sponsored response car we reckon we offer the quickest response to a life threatening medical crsis you can get- and without blue lights and sirens.
Bransgore Community Responders wish to thank Tom Tom of Amsterdam for supporting our group and the community of Bransgore and District.Tom Tom will certainly help us "make a difference".
The Tom Tom SatNav unit will be kept by the on-call Responder for use in the car but to avoid the risk of theft this valuable piece of life saving equipment will not be left in the unattended car.
