July is a busy month for our Responders, as it represents our main week of fund raising. It has been brought forward from October to take advantage of the better weather, assuming the rain stops! On Saturday 7th we are holding a street collection at Ringwood outside Sainsburys at Meeting House shopping centre. (Thank you Sainsburys)
On Saturday 14th we will be holding our street collection in Bransgore, outside the shops in Ringwood Road. By kind permission of the manager at Alliance Pharmacy we hope to set up a small display unit on their forecourt to show everyone the equipment we carry and what it can do.
On Sunday 15th we will be collecting outside the Sainsbury store at Somerford near Christchurch (thanks again to Sainsburys).
Like last year we hope to raise enough to keep us going through the coming year serving the community in Bransgore and the 20 square miles around.
On 24-26th we will be at the New Forest and Hampshire Show at Brockenhurst. We have been offered a stand by the organisers for which we are very grateful. We hope to raise a few pennies of course but our aim there is to promote the work of Community Responders and what volunteers in communities can achieve, to promote some important healthcare messages such as the British Heart Foundation Doubt Kills Campaign and the Ambulance Service, Help us to Help You Campaign.
The Show is always worth a visit and good value for money. If you are coming to the Show, please do stop by and pay us a visit. We are on Stand 226 at the end of Arcade E and the "Fun Factory".
