Reliability and Safety

Safety checkIt's not just people we care about. Our trusty Freelander has regular safety checks every 12 weeks to make sure it remains safe and reliable for those who drive it, and to ensure we can reach those in need promptly and without delay. Thank you to our good friends at ETS (Walkers Garage) in Burley Road, Bransgore for their support for the Group and for being there when we need them.

 Waitrose in Christchurch

Waitrose

They have been kind enough to make us one of their good causes for the month of August. If you are a Waitrose shopper please take the green token you are offered at the till and place it in the collection box near the exit, in the section labelled up for our Group. If you are not normally a Waitrose shopper, now is a good time to pop in and see what's on offer. The staff are very helpful should you need them. £1000 is shared between the 3 good causes. Every pound really helps!

Did you know....?

Old PoundYou may wonder where the money goes that you donate. Well each new data terminal we will be getting in the next couple of months will cost us £120 a year, every year. And we need seven!
Each new defibrillator we get to replace older ones, costs £1050.
An Entonox cylinder and bag costs £350
Each pulse oximeter costs over £300, and we have seven

The old "round" pounds cease to be legal tender on Sunday 15th October. Why not sort them out now and if you want to get rid of them now, or after 15th October, we will willingly accept them to help with the scheme costs. Collecting boxes can be found at the Bransgore Newsagent, The Coffee Shop, The Three Tuns and MacPennys. Thank You.
