Like everyone we were appalled at the loss of life in the Manchester terrorism attack and our thoughts and prayers are offered for the victims and families. We also thank the first responders from the three main emergency services for their work and undoubtedly there would have been more fatalities without their intervention. We were proud to attend the recent Service of Thanksgiving at Ringwood Parish Church to show our thanks in some small tangible way.

Beaulieu Emergency Services Show

We have just attended the Beaulieu Emergency Services show and the Bransgore Group were honoured to have an individual invitation offered to us. Who could refuse such an offer to attend the event being put on by the High Sheriff of Hampshire, the Hon. Mrs Mary Montague Scott.
A great day and we met many local people and explained all about the work of Community First Responders in their communities.

New Milton Lions Club Carnival and Procession

On 3rd June we will be helping out our friends at New Milton CFR's by providing members to staff the stand at the New Milton Lions Club Carnival and Procession . We will have the Education Ambulance on site so please do visit us at Whitefield Road, Recreation Ground from noon and show your support for the CFR concept and local groups. You never know when you might need us! The procession starts from Station Road at 11am.

Bransgore Rotary Club Fun Run

On 4th June our team will be helping at the Bransgore Rotary Club Fun Run and will be present at the Start/Finish Line and dotted around the route. We are also providing the First Aid cover via our authorised team members.

Beckley Farm Open Day

On the 11th we will be at the Farm Open Day at Beckley Farm, near Hinton on the B3055 towards Bashley, providing First Aid cover and also having the Education ambulance with us. Please pop past and learn about farming activities and the work of our group.

Bransgore Street Collection

Finally, and of great importance for the Group, is Saturday 24th June when we will be holding our annual street collection outside the shops in Bransgore. We face a year of great cost as we move over to a new data communications deployment system which will cost a significant amount, and with additional skills training for our volunteers and extra equipment needed as a result to care for patients, we face a challenge in raising the funds to pay for the equipment. We hope our community, as before, will rally around to support us.
