Bransgore Fun Day

Just one shower of rain during the late afternoon, but it didn't put off the visitors to our stand to visit the Education Ambulance to learn what is carried on a modern ambulance. And ,of course, to learn about Community First Responders and what we do.

It seems youngsters now want to be paramedics instead of train drivers which is Ok as far as we are concerned. (Keep up the school work boys and girls, you need those exams!). Lots of interest from children and their parents and family in the ambulance and the work of community first responders. It was also a chance to meet up with a few people we had attended in the past and it was good to see them up and about. We also had a visit from Albert the Owl who was keen to join the team.

999 Emergency Services show

Later this month at the next bank Holiday on 29th we will be at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu for the 999 Emergency Services show. Come long and see what all the Emergency services actually do, with Police, Fire and Ambulance Services there plus H.M Coastguard and of course your local Community First Responders in attendance. Also there are the Royal Military Police, New Forest Agisters and others. A great day out and time to visit the National Motor Museum too.
