The last month has been hectic. We attended the launch of the South Central Ambulance Charity, of which we are a part, and Jackie was interviewed by BBC South Today along with Roy, a Bransgore resident who suffered cardiac arrest while Jackie was helping him. Prompt action with her defibrillator and CPR, along with ambulance staff meant Roy recovered and was at the launch to say thank you to Jackie.
We hope that the TV item will be broadcast in the near future.

Additionally, we issued a press release, seeking new recruits for Bransgore, Burley and Sopley as well as any other area in Hampshire. CFR's are always needed. Articles appeared in the press and our co-ordinator was interviewed on BBC Radio Solent about the work of CFR's and our appeal for volunteers. Interested in knowing more. Call 0844 500 9699 and we will get back to you.
We showed a further 20 residents - members of the Bransgore Flower Club - how a defibrillator works and how easy it can be to save a life using one and conducting Hands Only CPR.
As the camping and caravan sites close for the winter it is appropriate we thank them and their customers for the donations made throughout the past months. It really does make a difference.
We are providing the First Aid cover for the fireworks at The Three Tuns on Friday 4th November- always a good event, and we have a number of presentations lined up to give various groups later in the month.
At the same time we are due to undertake our requalification in the first week of this month so we will be revising hard.

We will be in attendance on Remembrance Sunday at the War Memorial to pay our respects and lay a wreath on behalf of the Community First Responders and the ambulance service.
